With ScraperAPI, one credit is the cost of a standard page request, but what you actually consume depends on the site you’re scraping and the parameters you send. You can check the exact cost for any URL using the Domain Cost Estimator in your dashboard, and you can set a max_cost per scrape to keep any single request within your limit.

Because some sites are harder to scrape, ScraperAPI has built custom logic for them and prices them accordingly. A standard page costs 1 credit. Amazon costs 5, Google and Bing (including their subdomains) cost 25, and LinkedIn costs 30. Sites behind bot protection like Cloudflare, Datadome, or PerimeterX add 10 credits per request when we bypass them. You can check the exact cost for any URL using the Domain Cost Estimator in your dashboard, and you can set a max_cost per scrape to keep any single request within your limit.

You can keep track of your ScraperAPI request volume and your concurrent request count in the dashboard after you sign up for an account.

If you exceed your ScraperAPI limits, you’ll get a 429 response asking you to bring your concurrency back within your plan’s limit and try again. There’s no extra charge for going over, the request is simply turned away rather than queued.

If you reach 100% of your ScraperAPI credits on a Hobby, Startup, or Business plan before your standard renewal date, you’ll be able to: 1) seamlessly upgrade to the next plan, which often provides a better price-per-credit, or 2) contact our support team to discuss a custom plan tailored to your specific needs. Customers on a Scraper API Scaling, Professional, Advanced, or Enterprise plan can continue using our services on a PAYG model, using extra credits at a fixed, predictable rate; of course, you can always reach out to our sales team to adjust your plan to your increasing needs.

Upgrading moves your ScraperAPI account to a higher tier with a larger monthly allowance, usually at a better price per credit. Pay-As-You-Go lets you keep scraping past your current limit at a fixed per-credit rate without changing plans, and you can set a monthly spending cap so you’re never billed beyond what you’ve chosen to spend. Pay-As-You-Go is available on our Scaling, Professional, Advanced, and Enterprise plans.

No, your ScraperAPI credit balance resets when your subscription renews. If your usage has changed, you can move up or down a plan anytime from the billing page.

Custom ScraperAPI Enterprise pricing applies across your usage, with the exception of requests to Ultra Premium which carry their own minimum rate. Your sales contact can walk you through exactly how this applies to your workload.

You can change your card details for ScraperAPI anytime in your dashboard or by contacting support. We will help you securely change your card details.

Yes, you can cancel your ScraperAPI subscription at any time in your dashboard or by contacting support, and you will not be charged for cancelling.
