Residential proxies are IP addresses that are from Internet Service Providers (ISP), not a data center. This means that every residential proxy has a fixed geographical location and appears more like a normal user is making the request to the website instead of a server. Making requests from residential proxies harder to detect than datacenter proxies when scraping websites.
For 99% of websites you don’t need to use residential or mobile proxies if you have a diverse and well optimised datacenter proxy pool, unless you need city-level geotargeting or need to log into sites for automation bots.

To use our residential proxy pools you simply need to send your requests to the API via our API endpoint or proxy port along with the premium=true flag. From here the API will automatically route the request to our residential proxy pools and rotate proxies after every request.
